Heritage Fest is an entertaining and enlightening cultural carnival of contests for students from Jr.Kg to Class X, is conducted from June to October every year in Ahmedabad celebrating India’s vibrant culture and tradition. It provides a platform for school children, to offer their unique innate talent as an ode to Lord Sri Krishna.t has the distinction of being the only one of its kind in the city, comprising over 80 contests under eight different streams with up to 1000 prizes to be won. This is an exclusive occasion for the students to display their creativity and talent in various art forms and literary skills.
Children compete with each other to earn points for the school they represent and eventually win the coveted ‘Heritage Fest Rolling Trophy’, awarded to the institution that has scored the maximum points. Individual winners of various activities also take home attractive prizes and certificates.
All characters, situations, performances, dialogues, scripts, costumes etc., to be based on Vedic scriptures only. For authenticity, please refer to books authored by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.
Students may participate in multiple events, provided the schedule will not clash. In case of such clash children have to participate in only one event & drop other events. Hare Krishna Movement is not responsible for it, no refund shall be done. We request children/ teachers/ parents to choose events rightly before registration.
Few events like Dance, Music, Theater, Oratory are being conducted only at Hare Krishna Mandir, Bhadaj and not in schools.
Please refer the program schedule for date and venue for each event.
For all team events, the team members have to register by purchasing tickets at the venue.
Participants should make their own arrangements for food during the Heritage Fest events.
Participants to provide their music in a CD while collecting ticket.
Charges: Per event Rs. 20, per child.
Preserve your Ticket that is provided to you against registration as it is very important. No entry / no take home prasadam without producing your ticket, in case of loss children have to pay Rs. 20/- to register again for the event & collect the new ticket number.
Once registration is done in the name of Contestant A, if A not able to participate in Competition due to any reason, we cannot change the hall ticket in the name of Contestant B. Contestant B has to register and get a new hall ticket. Contestant A shall be considered to be absent if not appearing for the competition.

Results and Awards
The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
All results will be published on the website. No phone calls, e-mails or personal visits will be entertained for queries regarding results.
Prize distribution ceremony for all the events will be conducted at Hare Krishna Madir, Bhadaj, the schedule of which shall be published on our website, tentatively it would be Sep 29, 2019.

Srimad Bhagavatam describes that in the spiritual world, ‘every step is a dance’. Krishna is the greatest transcendental dancer, and His dance with the gopis of Vrindavana enchants the entire existence. A tribute to His love for ‘dance’ is the Dance competitions of Heritage Fest.
Drawing and art is the most practical and popular way to engage in worship of God in all the cultures. Heritage Fest gives you an opportunity to engage your children from a very young age, by giving them an opportunity to colour Krishna’s forms.
Acting and stage plays are the best ways to reach out a vital message to the masses in an easy, understandable and entertaining manner. Heritage Fest provides a platform for children to bring out their inherent talent in theatrical performances.
Lord Narayana declares to Srila Narada Muni, yatra gayanti mad-bhaktah tatra tishthami narada: “Wherever My devotee sings My glories, I take My residence there, O Narada!” Heritage Fest celebrates the talent of mastering this rich musical form, as an offering to Lord Krishna.
Articulation of thoughts into meaningful words is an essential quality that is worth developing in the formative years of education. Here is an opportunity for your children to exhibit their literary skills and offer it as a birthday gift to Lord Krishna on the occasion of Sri Krishna Janmashtami.
To elucidate the glories of God by using the gift of speech is one of the primary methods to attract the attention of God. Heritage Fest aims to provide a substantial channel for the younger generation to utilize their oratory skills in glorification of The Supreme Lord.
RESULTS OUT !
Cultural Values Kids Club of Hare Krishna Mandir, Bhadaj organized 10th Annual Heritage Fest on August 19 & Sept 4, in more than 65 schools, & on August 29, 30 & 31.
More than 14000 extremely talented kids participated in various competitions giving a tough time for the Judges. We are thankful to all schools, coordinators, parents, and kids for making it.
Competitions included Coloring, Drawing & Painting, Pencil Shading, Handwriting, Calligraphy, and Essay Writing which were conducted in schools & Dance, Singing, Story Telling, Gita Shloka Chanting, Vedic Skit, Pauranic Costume Krishna Quiz
We are pleased to announce the much-awaited results of all the events. Results are given by the judges and are final. Heartiest congratulations to the winners, we would also like to thank all the 14,000 participants who had participated so enthusiastically, for us, all are the winners.

Heritage Fest Prize Distribution CANCELLED SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 29, 2019 - ceremony has been canceled due to prediction of heavy rains caused by Cyclone | IMD predicts heavy rainfall.
Keeping in mind safety of Children, School representatives & Parents we are hereby canceling the event at Hare Krishna Mandir.
We would be distributing prizes in your schools itself.
Spot registration prize winners can collect their prizes from Cultural values for Children section of Hare Krishna Mandir, Bhadaj from Monday to Sunday, 6 pm to 8 pm, before Tuesday, October 8, 2019.
